Biographical Information: Dean Bulluck is a potter in eastern North Carolina. His love of bonsai led him to begin working in ceramics in 2016, focusing on hand built and slab built bonsai pots. Currently most of his work is wood fired, although he occasionally fires pots in a gas kiln. He prefers wood firing in an anagama or in a salt kiln, which he fires in teams with other ceramic artists in the local wood firing community. The majority of his pots are made with locally sourced North Carolina clays and wild clays collected throughout North Carolina.
